Erin Kaprelian

Erin Kaprelian, an experienced IP attorney, has provided comprehensive assistance to clients of all sizes in various realms of patent law. She is deeply committed to aiding clients in safeguarding their innovations and accomplishing their business objectives. Erin’s practice centers on client counseling and the development of global patent portfolios, encompassing patent application preparation and prosecution for both utility and design applications. She boasts a wealth of experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications across diverse technological domains, including cloud computing, machine learning, network management and security, server systems, software, and telecommunications. Additionally, Erin’s expertise extends to clearance, invalidity, and infringement analyses, due diligence investigations, pre-litigation negotiation and strategy, as well as litigation support.

Before joining Jones Robb, Erin served as an IP attorney at a general practice firm in the Midwest, where she gained valuable patent litigation experience. She also amassed significant experience in managing clients’ trademark portfolios, involving trademark prosecution, oppositions, infringement matters, and proceedings under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy. Prior to embarking on her career in patent law, Erin served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Rudolph Randa, Eastern District of Wisconsin.
