Jones Robb is very excited to welcome our legal interns for a summer of education and fun. Over the course of ten weeks this summer, our interns will be attending seminars related to different aspects of the practice of patent law, touring the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, sitting in on Examiner interviews and inventor calls, attending a writing seminar taught by Ed Good, and completing a research project. The summer won’t be all work related, as ice cream socials and a firm picnic form part of our summer line up. This year we welcome four summer interns, three of whom are returning interns. Learn more about our talented and engaging summer class below.
Alisha Agrawal is a recent graduate of the Hayfield Secondary School in Alexandria and plans to attend the University of Virginia in the fall, where she will major in biology with a possible minor in a business-related area. This is a very busy summer for Alisha who, in addition to returning to Jones Robb for her second summer as a legal intern, was accepted into an Observership at the Washington Medstar Hospital. Alisha is shadowing surgeons in the surgical suite and participating in discussions with the medical staff after completion of the surgeries. Alisha is also a Virginia State Future Business Leaders of America winner. This distinction allows her to compete at the national conference in San Antonio, Texas this summer. Good luck and welcome back Alisha!
